When you click the "join" link in the previous paragraph a new email message should open up in your email program. Click "send" on that email, you don't have to add or change anything.

(If a new email doesn't open in your email program send an email to "madeiramusic-subscribe@yahoogroups.com" with any subject line, the body of the email can be left blank.)

Shortly after you send the email you should get an automated confirmation email that looks something like the this:

To finish up, you have to complete either option 1 or option 2. We recommend option 2, replying to the Yahoo email by clicking "reply" and "send"

If you choose the first option (Go to the Yahoo Groups site) you'll be taken to a Yahoo page and asked to answer a bunch of questions. There's no benefit to this option and it takes more time.

Please note: you must complete one of the two options in the confirmation email in order to finish the sign up process. You won't be signed up if you don't take one of the steps.

Shortly after you join you'll get an automated welcome email with a link to the Madeira Music group page on Yahoo. There's nothing going on there, we don't use any of the services through the group, except for the email list. Everything happens here, on our site.
